The Making of a Warrior

The dinner and auction on Saturday evening, March 17 2007 at Persimmons Country Club was a success! 

About 175 guests enjoyed a fun evening:

• A video tribute to Jeff titled "The Making of a Warrior" was shown.  The video featured video clips of Jeff playing sports during his days at Corbett High School and rememberances from some of Jeff's coaches.
• There was a special quilt presentation made to Pat Lucas by Kaye Hansen of the Home of the Brave Project.
• The Grammy Award nominee Gino Vannelli performed a song title "None so Beautiful as the brave."   We were honored to have Mr. Vannelli with us.
• Jim Anderson and Mike Button auctioneered a highly successful live auction.

A total of $23,000 was raised for the Jeff Lucas Memorial Fund. This brings the total funds raised up to about $103,000!

The Lucas family and the Board of Directors for the Jeff Lucas Memorial Fund would like to thank all of our guests and generous donors for making this event such a success.  We had more than 60 items donated.  Click here to see all of the items donated.
